1999 - 72m.

Another post-Scream horror flick (meaning it has a young cast, lots of attempts at "hip" dialogue and in-jokes) as a group of twenty-something friends are off to spend the weekend at the spooky house of one of their friends only to start getting knocked-off by vengeful witch Lilith (played in heavy make-up by Ariauna Albright) when it turns out they are all descendants of people who burned her at the stake years ago (and the friend who's house they're at is related to Lilith).

Feeling like a lesser Night Of The Demons this does have an okay backstory for Lilith and the make-up effects aren't bad but it's just not that great because it's pretty dull for the first half-hour, it's much too talky (with a lot of dialogue feeling unnatural) and the acting ranges from passable to junky (the worst cases in point are the "stoner" character and "blonde bimbo" character).

I think the main problem with this is that even at its slim 72 minute running time it's just too dull and uninteresting to have any appeal and the fact the script and acting is sub-par doesn't help either.

Followed by Witchouse: Blood Coven and one more sequel (both of which are probably better than this).

Directed By: Jack Reed (David DeCoteau).
Written By: Matthew Jason Walsh.

Starring: Matt Raftery, Monica Serene Garnich, Brooke Mueller, Ashley McKinney.
