1984 - 87m.
France/Spain

French-Spanish co-production from director Jean Rollin (credited as J.A. Laser in the credits) borrows its main premise from the 1975 low-budgeter Shock Waves as a small French town is attacked by some Nazi zombies who have come back for revenge from the lake their bodies were dumped in years before.

Dreary and dull, this at least tries to have zombies (called "ghosts" at various times, though there's no doubt they're flesh-munchers) with some sort of personallity instead of aimlessly shuffling about; but this is a pretty lousy time that you just couldn't care about.

Throw in the fact the zombies mostly attack naked girls and sport pathetic green painted faces (which you can see rub-off one of them during an early attack) and you've got this completely skippable exploitation flick that's padded with a long-winded subplot about one of the zombies past loves.

Get ready for your mind to do some wandering.
