Tongue-in-cheek sequel to the poor original isn't any great shakes either but it's an improvement with a more satricial approach and a script that tries harder for more relevance. Those two killers from the original Howard and Eli are now operating a pirate television show on which they show various snuff tapes while torturing a guest or two.
With the same "blah" production values as the original this is still a better effort with some actually amusing moments (like how Howard chuckles like Ed McMahon all the time and the priceless line "this is the best thing on cable since Fraggle Rock!"), an uncomfy scene that involves vein cutting and a twist ending that was an okay attempt but doesn't quite work.
Filled with ultra-violence (and lots of cheapo gore), satire and some moments that work decently; this is an improved sequel but still suffers due to having more ambition than actual budget. Too bad they kept the scene with a pizza delivery boy going-on too long and padded it with slow-motion dancing; because it drags this down a tad.
A step in the right direction by director/writer Cohen; but not quite there yet.
