2001 - 72m.

This fourth film from Full Moon's African-American off-shoot Big City Pictures has them teaming-up with Tempe Productions to create this "urban" themed supernatural romp that has some high school kids going to an abandoned school with their teacher and falling victim to a ghost who was a former slave they've accidently set free.

While the story set-up here is mostly standard this directorial debut by B-movie (and Tempe) regular James Black is actually quite entertaining with decent mood, a fine young cast and a strong visual sense shown by Black.

Throw in an effective musical score and one kick-ass gore effect involving a window shard and you've got this recommended effort that may get a tad sloppy in the finale but is a perfectly acceptable way to waste 72 minutes of your day.

Order it from Tempe Video.

DVD INFORMATION

Picture Ratio: 1.85:1.

Picture Quality: While the clarity can get a bit fuzzy once in a while generally this is a above average transfer.

Extras: This is one loaded DVD with trailers, commentary, a making-of documentary, the hilarious "Into The Black" retrospective on director/actor Black (with plenty of insults at earlier Tempe productions) and even including Tempe's early Galaxy Of The Dinosaurs. You've got this solid, way above average package that's definitely worth the money.
