B+ Productions first low-budget effort is a tongue-in-cheek vampire stripper movie that has Jennifer Huss as a fairly innocent girl getting hired on at a local dance club "Vamps" not realizing that it's run by vampire mistress and her "harem" of bloodsuckers. They spend the movie taking revenge on double-crossing males and it's up to priest (and horror movie fan) Paul Morris to try and stop them.
What starts out as a thin story loaded with lots of skin, stripping and wooden acting starts to win you over thanks to a second half that focuses more on the relationship between Huss and Morris (it's well-done character development and nice to see in this type of film) and actually fleshes-out the script to the point of it becoming an entertaining and likeable effort that's persistence just wins you over.
Amber Newman plays one of her countless stripper roles (and is, as always, nice to look at) and the horror movie references on hand manage to not be cloying. Recommended.
Followed by a sequel.
