So-so horror/comedy with Eddie Murphy as a suave vampire transplanted to Brooklyn to look for his vampire queen who turns out to be cop Angela Bassett.

Too tame for horror fans (mostly because of the star) and not enough humour for comedy fans. An okay, but passable film. Murphy is alright playing against type and there are some funny moments to keep it bearable. (Chris Hartley)
