Troma released this feature-length editing of episodes of the television show together on video and tried to pass it off as a movie. What it is is a jumbled stew of about three of the sub-par Saturday morning cartoon show that has our hero Toxie and his other mutant crime-fighting pals (No-Zone, Headbanger, Junkyard, etc.) having to stop the evil alien Dr. Killemoff from polluting their town of Tromaville.
While it might be interesting to fans of The Toxic Avenger just to see how they kiddie-downed the origin of the character it's still a completely passable video with mediocre animation, plenty of juvenile humour and an almost unintentionally funny anti-pollution message (I mean, come on, this is Troma we're talking about - they're not exactly kings of "good morals").
B-movie stalwart Michael J. Pollard lends his voice as "Psycho", Killemoff's sidekick. Like the Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes cartoon, a good example of why cult movies shouldn't become children's shows.
