Hammer Films was responsible for this messy occult horror flick that has Satanism expert Richard Widmark trying to protect innocent young nun Nastassja Kinski from faux pas priest Christopher Lee who's out to make her have Satan's baby or some such nonsense.

Known more for Kinski's nude scene than anything else this is an uninteresting and slowly-paced misfire that has a set-up that's muddled and a script on which the viewer can never really get a grip on. Lots of Satanist mumbo jumbo and making little sense the only positives here would be Lee who's suited for his role and some imagery that may try too hard to be nightmarish but isn't too bad. But check out that cheesy demon puppet in the finale! Kinski shows her wooden acting side yet again.
