1972 - 91m.

This silly and dopey low-budget sci-fi/horror has rich scientist Ray Milland (who's also a bigot and racist) dying of a uncurable disease. Well it just so happens he's been experimenting with head transplants and they set-out to find a donor. Seems they have little time left and have to settle for criminal "Rosey" Grier who much to Milland's surprise (and annoyance) when he wakes-up is quite African-American.

While a bit long in the tooth and stupid; this pretty minor stuff is worth seeing at least once by drive-in fans and manages to be enjoyably unserious in tone. Almost a * 1/2 but due to a campy two-headed gorilla rampage (with make-up pro Rick Baker in the suit), the transplant that gives us our first glimpse at a totally fake Milland head (which is seen later as Grier walks around), the fact Milland has his head over Grier's shoulder and they use a neck brace to hide the fact and a completely laughable moment when they're on a dirtbike.

Wacky and crappy - but fun for fans of this stuff.
