1999 - 114m.

Demented Troma flick loosely based on director Lloyd Kaufman's book, All I Know About Filmmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger, has the members of a film crew who are making the next epic Toxic Avenger effort being slaughtered by a mysterious woman in leather while all sorts of on-set antics happen, our blind director (played by Kaufman himself) yells at people and there's tons of blood spraying and naked women on display.

With all the juvenile and tasteless humour you expect from Troma this just doesn't feel too inspiring, has a script that's all over the place and (like most of Kaufman's later efforts) seems to run on a bit too long.

Sure there's some alright gore (one guy is stabbed to death with a broken bong, another sucked into an escalator), there's some low-brow jokes that work (though most jokes here are beaten to death in true Troma fashion), tons of goofs on the Hollywood system and Will Keenan is surprisingly good in the lead. It's just this has a whole "cheapjack" feeling to it and almost doesn't have enough offensive material on hand. I'd say read the book instead.
