Gimmick maestro William Castle presented this one in "Illusion-o" (basically 3D) that had the audience wearing glasses that could either "hide" or "show" the title ghosts.
Charles Herbert and family have come upon some rough times only to inherit a house from a distant uncle. They happily move in only to find that it's loaded with a bunch of ghosts.
As with most Castle films this takes a campy approach and is to be taken none-too-seriously; and for the most past it's a pleasing timewaster until the thinly plotted (and a bit sloppy) final third. But there are a few scenes of mild suspense (such as the ouija board scene), it's fun to see Margaret ("Wicked Witch Of The West" from Wizard Of Oz) Hamilton as the eccentric housekeeper and such lines as "I think you could cut his arm off and he'd never tell" to smile about.
Not Castle's best film, but likeable in a "boy, is this dopey!" kind of way.
