1998 - 90m.

Just when you thought the series was over along comes this mostly unrelated sequel that has two Military Police going to an isolated Arctic base to investigate some murders only to get trapped there with the survivors and having to deal with not only a storm but also some supernatural and demonic goings-on.

At first I was sitting there thinking to myself, "hey, the isolation theme just might work..." and it actually manages to have a decent build-up and mystery for the first half; it's when they actually trot out the Satanic mumbo jumbo and demon attacks that this starts to stumble.

It could have been a perfectly acceptable "creeping dread" type of movie (and it does okay for a good portion of its running time at being just that) but then the sloppy finale with weakly staged demon attacks comes along and renders it just another straight-to-video sequel.

Still better than the previous entry though Faith Ford and Clayton Rohner's love interest seems to come out of left-field at the end of it.
