Rhino Video tries again (after the mediocre Plump Fiction) for an Airplane!-like parody this time taking a cue from Scary Movie and setting their sights on all sorts of movies but especially the now overdone teen horror genre.

With a joke rate of (it seems) one every thirty seconds this, like most spoofs of this type, is mostly hit-or-miss and even though it's at times lamebrained and mostly dumb it's still way better than the bigger budgeted box-office hit Dimension film.

It's mediocre, to be sure, and rapper Coolio is embarassing as a principal who thinks he's the singer Prince but there's more chuckles on hand than that aforementioned million-dollar comedy with the "Mentos", Grease and Pop-Up Video moments getting laughs even though this seems to be stretching too much for laughs a lot of the time. Pretty so-so.

Co-star Majandra Delfino resembles Molly Ringwald (in a good way).
