2001 - 86m.

Low-budget slasher of minimal importance somehow managed to get a release by MGM (in 2003, two years after it was made) and while it's one of the rare genre flicks to combine sports with horror (in this case snowboarding, skiing was the theme of the similar 1988 flick, Iced) it's still pretty forgettable and dumb.

In a set-up that's as standard as the entire movie, five twenty-somethings head-off to an abandoned ski resort (that one of their father's is looking to buy) for a weekend of "shredding" the hills, partying and having all sorts of sex only for them to start getting killed by a ski-masked psycho.

After a decent opening death (that involves a metal wire and some alright gore) this soon starts to slide "downhill" (pun intended) as it has lots of failed mild attempts at humour, so-so acting (Billy O' makes for grating comic relief, though Juleah Weikel is nice to look at as "Pike") and for the most part deaths that are as junky as how the killer looks. Also throw in some purposely jerky editing (which pauses and jumps the picture all over the place) which is more distracting than anything.

There is a couple of okay scenes (like the "video camera" death and "dismembered head" moment) but it's not nearly enough to make this any more than skippable.
