1997 - 120m.

A sequel of the worst kind just because it's stale, lacks original ideas and is a complete rehash.

Neve Campbell is now in college and just when a movie based on the events of part one is opening along comes another ghost-masked killer who proceeds to terrorize the campus and go after Neve and other survivors of the original massacre.

Whereas the first film had some amusing little jabs and pokes at the genre this falls into the cliches it liked to "wink knowingly" at. As feeble as the type of films it's making fun of with a really pathetic finale.

And is it just me or is there not one likeable character in this? Then again everyone just seems to be going through the motions anyway. Only Jada Pinkett (taking over for Drew Barrymore as the "opening death") is any good in this truly lame cash-in sequel.

You won't "Scream" for more.
