Medical student Jeffrey Combs creates a serum that can bring the dead back to life and all sorts of trouble starts to happen when it gets into the wrong hands.

Campy, over-the-top stuff works from the beginning to the gore packed finale. Review based on unrated version; R-rated version runs 94 minutes and is more talky, less gory (but still good).

Followed by Bride Of Re-Animator and one other sequel.
