Poor New York. The Big Apple falls victim to an ancient winged serpent that's picking-up people and eating them and it's up to cop David Carradine to stop it with the grudging help of hood Michael Moriarty who knows where the nest is.

Typically erratic Cohen fare has his usual campy approach and is competently done but at the same time is somewhat tedious and runs out of steam until the pretty good "monster on a famous landmark" finale.
