Cop Elias Koteas investigating a murder gets caught up trying to stop Angel Gabriel (Christopher Walken) an angel come to Earth to collect a soul to assist him in a neverending battle between angels in Heaven.

Intriguing idea and a watchable first two thirds are dragged down by the poor finale; but it's still an okay, relatively bloodless horror/thriller.
