Second sequel to the slasher original keeps with the idea of a revenge-seeking undead prom queen called Mary Lou from the second entry and takes it to an even more unserious level with dopey humour and corny, yet enjoyable, deaths (such as the whole "ice cream" and "football" moments).

Mary Lou (played this time by the pretty Courtney Taylor) escapes from eternally dancing in Hell and returns to Hamilton High where she seduces student Tim Conlon and starts killing anyone who gets in the way of their "love" or his success.

This one is a guilty pleasure for me because it's certainly dumb and goes more for laughs than anything but it's done with such a silly "tone" that it manages to be fairly entertaining despite the junky finale set in Hell (with the even junkier possessed jukebox) and, like I said before, the deaths are just wacky enough to be fun. It's not the best of the series, but it's watchable and it does mark one of the rare horror movie occurences of a girl taking OFF her heels when being chased.
