Horror/comedy from California's Yeti Brothers Productions has a group of twenty-something actors being knocked-off by some vengeful ghosts in an old Pittsburgh theatre while a sarcastic detective (played by Nikitas Menotiades who's a deadpan riot in his role) and his two inept policeman sidekicks try and solve the mystery. In between wisecracks, lots of jokes (a bunch of which fall flat) and mediocre plot there's a handful of haunting scenes and deaths.
Writer/director Hunter F. Roberts debut feature isn't bad mind you and it is decently acted by all; it just seems that he was stretching a bit too much to make a funny parody along the lines of Airplane! little realizing that to do that you have to have rapid, non-stop gags and not focus so much on plot (especially when your plot is only so-so).
That's not to say there's nothing here to recommend as lead Menotiades (as mentioned before) is great, Ross Donaldson amuses as the Scottish janitor and there is a totally cool "sledgehammer" moment in the finale.
A bit of a misfire but there is some future promise from Roberts and his cast.

DVD INFORMATION
Picture Ratio: 1.85:1 Widescreen.
Picture Quality: It's stable throughout though there is some colour bleeding and the copy I saw had lots of brief pauses (which could just be the review copy and not be present on the retail one).
Extras: Unfortunately on my copy all the extras weren't present but there will be outtakes, a featurette on the effects and a commentary track (which worked and made for a decent listen).
