Little girl gets a wooden marionette that was made by an executed serial killer and people around her and her lawyer mother start getting hurt or killed. Is it the work of the puppet or the child?

Character driven horror/suspenser relies more on story than violence which makes it a bit slower-paced but director Tenney keeps it watchable.
