Brandon Adams gets trapped in a house with psycho couple Wendy Robie and Everett McGill (who keep monster-like people under the stairs and feed them humans) and must fight his way out with the help of their abused daughter and "Roach" a creature gone good.

Stunning entertainment from start to finish, the acting is great from everyone involved, there's an excellent story and Craven directs with style and intelligence. A winner.
