1987 - 68m.
Germany

Notorious splatter import from Jorg Buttgereit was banned in many countries due to its content but any hardened horror fan shouldn't have much of a problem with all the "offensive" material on hand.

One of the rare necrophelia horrors this has body remover Daktari Lorenz (who helps remove accident victims) becoming obssessed with dead bodies and eventually bringing one home so that his girlfriend and himself can "have fun" with it. Soon she's left him and he warps into a state of mental instabillity (that includes murdering a cat and bathing in its blood and having a really bad dream sequence).

This is definitely not for all and there's some pretty sick and morbid sequences here (such as the intercutting of a rabbit skinning with a in-home autopsy and when they attach a led pipe to the body for sexual purposes) it's just a virtually plotless collection of depravity without any real reason. However, Buttgereit does do a good job of making everything in the film look completely unappealing (which I believe was intentional) and as German "splatter" directors go he's certainly better than Andreas Schnaas.

If you want to see his good work then seek out Schramm, it's leagues above this.

Followed by a sequel.
