1991 - 90m.

Unneeded sequel to the Robert Englund directed original thats only ties to that movie are a loosely worked-in plot thread about the 976 "HorrorScope" number and the fact our underdeveloped motorbike riding "hero" Spike (Patrick O'Bryan) is back from the first film.

It's all sorts of supernatural and spiritual hokum as College Dean, Rene Assa, is accussed of killing local girls only for him to continue his reign of terror when he gains the power of astral projection (he can leave his body and cause havoc). It falls to Spike and college girl Robin (Debbie James), who the good dean has a bit of a crush on, to try and stop him.

If seeing the name Jim Wynorski on the directing credits scares you I will tell you that only the opening scene involving a shower is typical Wynorksi style (that is ample pointless nudity and overacting) while he pretty much plays it straight for the rest of the film. And though this isn't an overly memorable follow-up and it's mostly silly; it plays okay and is an acceptable timewaster with a few decent moments (like when one girl is pulled into a TV set that's showing both It's A Wonderful Life and Night Of The Living Dead) and a fairly quick pace.

There is however a dopey "possessed house" moment and you have to wonder why Assa's skin start getting deformed when he's projecting.
