1997 - 85m.

Very low-budget vampire tale has a small town scientist being forced to resurrect a centuries-old vampire who then proceeds to terrorize the town and two couples passing through on a hiking trip. Meanwhile his new scientist friend tries to find a way our fanged baddie can be immune to sunlight.

Amateurish effort comes up with some decent ideas and has a fairly good pay-off in the finale, it's just too unconvincingly acted to really work.

Another independent vampire movie that isn't quite as bad as a lot of them tend to be, but isn't overly special either.
