Cop looking into deaths at a laundry company finds that the big press machine "The Mangler" (as it's dubbed) is possessed by an evil spirit that needs blood in order to keep its benefactors immortal.

Decent first hour is brought down by the feeble last third and lousy finale. Gets too far-fetched for its own good.

Based on the Stephen King story. Review based on unrated version.
