1988 - 87m.

Airplane!-like comedy set in 1692 New England follows the town of Salem who have to deal with the witch hunts which just turn out to be a scheme by mayor Dave Thomas and town judge Stuart Pankin to get all the land. Of course real witch Barbara Carrera gets caught up in it all.

Hit-or-miss spoof gets too dopey for its own good in the final third but has enough chuckles and wacky moments to be a fairly enjoyable time. Lots of bawdy (yet not really tasteless) humour that includes the amusing cartoons in the credits, the immortal song "A Pussy Is A Man's Best Friend" and Dr. Joyce Brothers meeting the fate many wish she would.

Mostly average, but watchable all the while with Carrera at her sensous best.
