Private eye Scott Bakula goes after a missing girl and ends up in the middle of a war between an illusionist and an evil, undead spellcasting cult leader.

Barker's first misfire suffers from a jumbled plot and slow pace. Unexciting dud from the mind behind the enjoyable Hellraiser, Nightbreed and Candyman films.
