1974 - 92m.
Italy-Spain

This Italy/Spain co-production has quite a cult following with genre fans and no wonder since it's one of the earlier Night Of The Living Dead inspired films to come out of Europe.

Ray Lovelock and Christine Galbo get into a minor accident involving his motorbike and her car and she ends-up having to give him a ride. Well he's quite the jerk to her until an experimental pesticide machine starts to bring the dead back to life.

This is truly a hidden gem. Some (like myself) love it, others feel indifferent towards it. Stylishly directed with some moderate suspense this is somewhat interesting and completely watchable with an effective enough first zombie appearance and a more intriguing script than we've come to expect from zombie movies.

Plus throw in a completely rockin' and nightmarish scene that has the characters under seige by zombies in a crypt and graveyard and some well spaced zombie attacks (sometimes too well spaced it feels) and you have this above average time. Gets a bit sluggish in the final third though.

George A. Romero set the standards/guidelines for zombie movies with his 1968 film, director Grau here kicks its ass into shape (at least until Dawn Of The Dead appeared).
