1996 - 81m.

Thoroughly engrossing and original indie horror/thriller has a man wash-up on shore in a bleak apocolyptic future not knowing who he is or how he got there. Along the way with dealing with mutants, a group of "milkmen" who collect dead bodies and trying to find out all about himself he slowly starts to realize he may just be a vampire.

Haunting and eerie with strong visuals and a tense mood this is one grim and gritty effort that while you can't really say it's overly entertaining since it's a bit too downbeat, you can say it's one Hell of a ride. There's a smart script, plenty of cool ideas and moments (my favourites involving drive-by shootings and a meat processing plant) and a great musical score.
