2002 - 79m.

Tempe Entertainment and Full Moon have given the guys at 3 AM Films their biggest budget yet and they meet the potential they've shown in their past efforts Vengeance Of The Dead and Schreck.

The intelligent set-up of this otherwise entertaining low-budgeter has some art students each being given a piece of a mannequin with which they are supposed to decorate any way they want. Then these pieces are put together to form a puzzle-like being they dub, "Jigsaw". Too bad for them that Jigsaw has decided to come to life and kill them off one-by-one.

What we have here is a very watchable time with engaging dialogue (though it goes for lots of cheesy one-liners too much at times), characters who are developed better than most of this type and a harrowing shotgun flashback (though it kind of loses some of its effect when the character telling it goes on to do a table dance right after).

3 AM have crafted a perfect B-movie that's better than expected and fun despite a merely okay finale (though there's a good last shot).
