After a nutty hallucinatory opening sequence this early occult horror from Romero soon gets tedious and muddled.

This tells the tale of a bored housewife who finds herself drawn into the world of witchcraft which leads to her eventual plot to kill her husband.

A nugget of an interesting idea just isn't handled well-enough to keep your attention and it manages to be a noisy and chaotic effort that unless you have to see all of Romero's movies is better left alone.
