Tepid teen horror telefilm from the producers of I Know What You Did Last Summer has new to town teenager Sarah Chalke being accused of being the descendant of a witch that was burned at the stake three-hundred years prior after her classmates start getting stalked (and sometimes killed) by a mask-wearing, claw-handed hooded psychopath.

While the similiarities to I Know... and Scream are quite obvious (this is also based on a Lois Duncan novel like I Know... was) this still makes okay viewing with a mostly fine young cast and competent direction.

It's just that it's really nothing special, it suffers from its television limitations and almost no-one dies! Uses many cliches including the killer whispering the title at everyone, having a cat jump out for a fake scare, etc. but as is, it's a bearable time if passable.
