One of Tempe Entertainment's most embarassing early efforts (and now the debut entry in their "Bad Movie Police" series) this quickly cranked-out and tongue-in-cheek sci-fi/horror has some Human-looking aliens crash landing on a distant planet only for it to be inhabited by some really nasty dinosaurs (that are cribbed from the 1978 low-budgeter, Planet Of The Dinosaurs, and are sadly the best thing about this). They have to try and figure out a way to stay alive and also get off the planet.
Tiring effort was shot for under two-thousand dollars and it shows but its not the lack of budget that drags this down; it's the non-professional acting (thankfully most of the cast would improve including Tom Hoover, who plays annoying comic relief), the entirely jokey script that doesn't have any laughs and just the fact that they needed to have an alien villian who shows-up in the last five minutes to try and sum up the plot.
Gets some unintentional chuckles when everyone is tweaking out on mushrooms while one of their friends is eaten by a dinosaur and the alien make-up actually isn't that bad. You know what to expect when even the people who made the movie make fun of it.
Directed By: Lance Randas (J.R. Bookwalter).

Starring: James Black, Christine Morrison, Tom Hoover, Bill Morrison.
DVD INFORMATION
Picture Ratio: 1.78:1 Widescreen.
Picture Quality: What are you expecting? It was shot for dirt-cheap. It's alright, but the nighttime scenes are really bad.
Extras: As mentioned this is part of Tempe's new "Bad Movie Police" series and it has a wrap-around story (written and directed by John Treacy) that has Ariauna Albright and Lilith Stabs playing officers who's mission it is is to bring in "cinematic" terrorists - it's quite an amusing concept and offers some chuckles (the second of the series is Chickboxer). There's also a self-deprecating commentary track, a trailer, a still gallery, Snippets from the "Into The Black" featurette that appeared on The Vault DVD focussing on Galaxy, a "behind-the-scenes" featurette and the throwaway "Jessica Mills Reporting". This is also available on the DVD for The Vault with basically the same features.
