2000 - 93m.

Prequel goes for a western/horror flavour as an outlaw (Marco Leonardi) just saved from hanging kidnaps the daughter of the hangman. Along with his posse they head-off to a distant town, hijacking a stagecoach and trying to avoid the hangman and his group who are hunting them. Of course, they all end-up at the notorious vampire bar/brothel and that's when the bloodsucking fun begins.

Watchable sequel sticks to its made-for-video roots but has plenty of shoot-outs and gore (one "knife through the mouth" scene is cool) even if the finale is lacking.

More similiar to the original than the previous part at least in plotting as, like the original, for the first half there's no horror elements before it kicks into gear once they hit the bar.

It's nice they decided to change the pace of the series, and for the most part it works.
