Direct-to-video sequel to the fun original has a gang of criminals heading to Mexico in order to rob a bank. Along the way one of them is bitten by a vampire which leads to a slew of violence as one-by-one they are turned into vamps. Not to mention the cops awaiting outside the bank.
While nowhere near as entertaining as the original this fairly watchable follow-up benefits from having co-writer/director Spiegel on board due to his stylized direction that has the camera moving energetically and in some pretty interesting angles (a trick Spiegel used in his last film the underrated slasher Intruder).
After a neat opening sequence in an elevator this has a somewhat standard script but has a bunch of impressive carnage (including a cool scene involving mirror shards) and some humourous moments (the discussion about porn movies is amusing) before almost losing it in the weak finale.
If you can lower your expectations a bit you might have fun with this flick that's firmly rooted in B-moviedom.
