1995 - 108m.

Brothers George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino on the run from the law kidnap Harvey Keitel and his two kids and end up at a strip bar in Mexico only to find it's inhabited by vampires.

Adequate fare boasts a good cast and decent effects. The teaming of hot young filmmakers Rodriguez and Tarantino comes off as a watchable timewaster.

Clooney is great and it's got a lot of highly original ideas going for it too.

Followed by two sequels.
