Brilliant scientist Jeff Goldblum working with particle transportation lets reporter Geena Davis record his experiments and finds himself changing when he's accidently fused with a common fly.

Smart entertainment that's well made and acted while being pretty grotesque which just adds to its effectiveness. Intense finale is worth waiting for.
