2003 - 100m.

Given that the original was a surprise hit (and a surprisingly refreshing teen horror) you'd expect a sequel - and here it is.

A.J. Cook stars as a young adult who has visions of a brutal car crash (staged in all its gory glory for us to see) that would have killed her, her friends and many others. Managing to avert the tragedy the survivors soon find themselves stalked by "death" yet again as they are methodically knocked-off in a series of "accident" set pieces.

It's up to Cook, cop Michael Landes and Ali Larter (who survived the original and checked herself into the asylum) to try and stop the killings.

While this follow-up isn't bad, it's nowhere near the original in story and entertainment. While the gore effects are pretty rockin' the plot is ridiculous with poor logic and a predictable set-up for yet another sequel. There's also too much "coincidence" required for most of the deaths which despite most of them being quite cool just saps them of any realism (I said "yeah right" more than once).

Competently made and bearable but too sloppily written and feeling too much of a rehash to be anything but disappointing.
