Canadian filmed sequel to the 1994 original has Gordon Currie and a group of his close friends heading to his grandmother's house in the country for a Halloween party. Well when Currie tries to get them to perform a ritual that involves their worst fears it only causes wooden dummy, "Morty" (which contains the spirit of his father who was a serial killer) to come back and crack one-liners while morphing and killing people.
Pretty unwanted follow-up is pretty standard stuff with paper-thin characters and an attempt at a bankable baddie that just doesn't work. Nothing at all special and mediocre; with a completely lame and ridiculous final third.
If you pay attention you can see the actor playing "Morty" sway and blink when he's supposed to be unmoving, plus you get to hear the line, "I'm gonna clearcut your ass".
Didn't hate it, just could care less about it.
