Detective George C. Scott, trying to solve some murders, finds the serial killer that's responsible is possessed by an evil spirit.

The originals writer Blatty tries his hand at bringing the series back to life only to crank out this extremely boring film that has you waiting for something exciting or at least entertaining to happen, but it never delivers. Disjointed mess.
