2003 - 47m.

4th Floor Pictures offer up another anthology flick this time hosted by Pamela Sutch (who has no real purpose but to say how "scary" it all is and flash some skin).

Firstly is "The Madness" that has a man going nutty while having visions (of softcore fantasy and a bloody axe) which turn out to have a deadly consequence. This one feels too short and has only a so-so twist.

Up next is "The Dead Forest" which tells a pretty morbid story of a twenty-something man who buries the body of his newborn in the remote forest only to be racked with guilt and eventually paying for what he did. This is the best tale here playing fine with an okay twist ending.

The third tale, "The Nudy Channel", is played totally tongue-in-cheek and gets the T&A quotient out of the way with a story that has a guy becoming obsessed with an actress on a softcore cable TV channel who it turns out has bad intentions. Packed with lots of amateurish humour this is certainly the worst entry.

Lastly is "Demons In The Basement" a sort of sloppily put together story of some detectives watching a video that involves a man who thinks there's demons in his basement and is driven crazy. It's pretty forgettable with micro-budget stalwart Joel D. Wynkoop the best thing here.

Having enjoyed the last 4th Floor film I saw (Day Of The Axe 2) I was a little disappointed in this shoddy effort that could have used more outright horror and less weak humour. Like all movies subtitled "The Final Chapter" can we expect more?
