2001 - 69m.

This flick was made during the rise of Misty Mundae's career with Seduction Cinema and sat on the shelf for a number of years. Mundae has always been one of the better actresses with the studio that built its name on b-movies filled with simulated lesbian sex and this is one of her more explicit roles (at least that I have seen). Mundae is featured along with the usual troupe including Darian Caine, Julian Wells, Ruby LaRocca, Anoushka, and Zoe Moonshine. Director William Hellfire tries his best to incorporate some plot amidst the naked flesh and this movie thankfully does not have the lame fart jokes and other toilet humour that plague many of the titles from the studio. This is not to say this is a good movie by any stretch but at least it makes an effort to try to tell a story amidst the naked mayhem.

Mundae stars as Misty, a young girl who is seduced by a sexy, big-breasted blonde drifter (Anoushka) in the bar where she works. Little does Misty know that the drifter turns into a werewolf when she has an orgasm. Before you can say "cunnilingus", Anoushka is growing fur and puts the bite on poor Misty. This leads to Misty spending some time in the hospital where she is seduced by two separate nurses (Caine and Wells) and then discovers that she too will turn into a werewolf when she hits the big O. Meanwhile, a tabloid reporter (Zoe Moonshine) interviews Anoushka at her house. When she discovers the danger, she warns Misty's lover (Ruby LaRocca) of the changes occurring in her girlfriend. This leads to a final showdown between Ruby and Misty as she tries to save her lover from her fate.

The real star of this flick is Ruby LaRocca who steals every scene she is in. I am surprised I have not noticed her before but this girl is smokin' and oozes sexuality. She is also a decent actress (relatively speaking) and I am interested to see what she can do in a non-erotic setting. She was one of the highlights of Mummy Raider but, for some reason, in An Erotic Werewolf in London she really stands out. The same cannot be said for Anoushka who has some impressive breasts but that is about it. She was obviously brought in by the studio as there is clearly a demand for that kind of body but her line deliveries are awkward although she does look like she is constantly seducing everyone she comes into contact with. Props should be given to whoever found the top and panties that have the word "F$#%" repeated all over them as it certainly adds to Anoushka's character. Zoe Moonshine also comes off as completely lacking emotion which is similar to some of her other performances.

If you are looking for a Seduction Cinema flick with a lot of lesbian action, this is one of the better ones as there are numerous sex scenes that are filmed well for what they are. I am a little surprised by how graphic some of these scenes are as there is lot of full-frontal nudity that shows way more than I remember seeing in these flicks. Maybe I have just not seen enough of them but this seems to be a little less innocent than I am used to. Those looking for cool werewolf effects will be disappointed as all that we get is some fake hair glued to the actresses in a seemingly random fashion. Although I am getting rather tired of Seduction Cinema movies, this was notable as one of Mundae's early flicks and for giving LaRocca a chance to establish her name. Hellfire has admitted that this movie is a homage to Werewolf Woman starring Annik Borel. (Josh Pasnak, 4/15/09)

DVD INFORMATION
Seduction/PopCinema - June 24, 2008

Picture Ratio: Full Frame.

Picture Quality: This is a low-budget movie that was shot on video so it is not stellar but it does the job.

Extras: This is a two-disc set that includes an eight-page booklet on the making of the film. One disc one, we start with an audio commentary featuring director Hellfire, producer Michael Raso, and host Ed Grant. I wasn't expecting much but this is an informative commentary that talks a lot about Factory 2000 as well as the main Seduction Cinema starlets and how they became associated with the studio. It also offers some insight as to why the film was shelved for over five years. Next, there is a 12-minute interview with Ruby LaRocca where she discusses her involvement in softcore and horror movies. Rounding out the extras on disc one is a handful of Seduction Cinema trailers.

Disc two contains a 48-minute short film entitled Night of the Groping Dead. Ruby LaRocca stars as a woman who masturbates in a laundromat only to be assaulted by some horny zombies. This leads to her being captured by a sadistic cult leader who kills her. She comes back as a zombie, kills the cult leader, and then has sex with Misty Mundae. I was quite surprised by how sexually graphic this short got especially with scenes involving LaRocca and the male zombies so if you are offended by sex scenes (especially ones that involve blood), you should steer clear. Then again, if you were offended by this type of material, I highly doubt you would purchase a DVD entitled An Erotic Werewolf in London. LaRocca fans will like this short as she is gothed out and looks great in a Dawn of the Dead tanktop at one point. The only other extra on this disc is a number of trailers for movies that star Misty Mundae.
