Seduction Cinema does a softcore take on the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel and before you dismiss it right away I have to admit it's a lot better than most of their fare.
Julian Wells plays a doctor who's research on sexuality has caused her to come up with a serum that sets free the inner sexual being in women (in other words pretty much turns them into lesbians) and soon she's trying it out on some of her paitents. When said paitents go a little batty she decides to try it on herself and switches between the "proper" doctor and her sex starved alter ego. Many couplings ensue.
Even though this is still only for fans of T&A fare and not really for horror fans there's some good things here and it works fairly well because Seduction have abandoned the jokey tone of most of their films, the acting is better than normal (Wells and Misty Mundae turn in acceptable performances), the production values seem higher than a lot of their films and the script by Bruce G. Hallenbeck actually has a smidgen of smarts and goes light on the sex (at least until the whimper of a finale with the usual "multiple girls" that grace all of Seduction's films) trying for more character development.
Better than expected for sure.
