2003 - 86m.

In the title town kids live in fear of a legend that has a kindly old lady being burnt at the stake one-hundred-and-fifty years prior. Seems that the lady isn't so kindly anymore and has come back in the form of the "tooth fairy" to gain revenge for her wrongful death.

Chaney Kley stars as Kyle; a heavily medicated twenty-something who is still afraid of the dark and who's mother was killed twelve years prior by the "fairy". He reluctantly returns to town to help former girlfriend Emma Caulfield who's ten-year-old brother suffers from the same thing. They end-up having to take on the evil spirit that's picking off people when they stray into the darkness.

As these things go this accomplishes exactly what it sets-out to be; that is an entertaining, if mindless, horror flick that has some logic lapses and is sort of predictable but is quickly paced, has good effects and is fairly fun.

It's not bad but it's not spectacular; however it is steadily directed, has a pretty cool last third (I especially like when the "fairy" throws a policeman into a security light to make the room dark) and is acted fine. If you put your brain in check and lower your expectations you'll probably enjoy this decent horror flick.
