1991 - 94m.

Unremarkable sequel shot back-to-back with part three has our favourite doofus alien bounty hunter Charlie (Don Keith Opper returning as the clumsy hero) finding the last two Critter eggs in 1992 only to find himself accidentally transported to the year 2045.

Well, all Hell breaks loose when a salvage crew lands on the space station Charlie and the eggs have been in cyro sleep on and let the eggs loose. So it's Critter mayhem this time in deep space.

Of the entire series this entry has the least bite because it's too slow getting to the Critter action and it's sort of dull and much too silly. This does benefit from a decent genre cast (that includes Brad Dourif, Anders Hove from the Subspecies movies and a soon-to-be-more-famous Angela Bassett) and a "Critter in mouth" shot that's sort of cool.

Overall though this is the least of the four. I still love the original best and hope for its DVD release someday.

Lamest moment: the whole sequence set in the waste area.
