2001 - 90m.

This decent slasher/psychological horror flick starts with an opening that captures a "down south" feel and is effective as a young boy witnesses his loving (and overly religious) mother being raped and killed by two redneck scum.

Jump to thirty-three years later as a gang of twenty-something couples head out to a remote cabin that just happens to be where our now grown up boy has been living in a feral-like state. He watches them through a crack in the floor before deciding to pick them off one-by-one when they start to get too "sinful".

While there's a few poor lines of dialogue and "star" Mario (Slater from TV's Saved By The Bell) Lopez is the worst thing here (cracking really awful one-liners, especially one about "69'ing") this is actually a quite watchable time that has a decent pitchfork moment, an amusing cameo from Gary Busey (despite his top billing he gets about 2 minutes screen time) as a chicken killing nutso, an okay bear trap moment and a rare downbeat ending that's pretty darn cool.

Directed steadily and better written than most of its type this makes a surprisingly good evening of entertainment. Co-star Daisy McCrackin looks a lot like Heather Graham.
