2000 - 79m.

Think Night Of The Demons and you'll get the idea behind this one.

In 1960 a Catholic school girl (who smokes and drinks booze) walks into the convent, lights fire to and shotguns some nuns and priests (what a promising beginning!). Forty years later the expected bunch of teens head off to the same convent to party only to start getting possessed by demon spirits that cause them to knock-off their friends in gory ways.

This obviously tongue-in-cheek throwback to 80's horror has a unserious tone that sort of gets tiresome as the script has Coolio in a comic relief role as a cop little realizing that ALL the characters in the movie are jokers.

Megahn Perry isn't bad as the "goth" girl (though she's killed much too early), the demon make-up is alright, there's a decent face rip and the flashbacks later on are mildly amusing; but overall this is a so-so time that seems to be trying too hard to be "winking" at the genre and ends quite badly (involving a fire and a dog). Plus the two wannabe Satanist characters do nothing but annoy.

Adrienne Barbeau is cool as the former school girl turned bad ass demon killer.
