1989 - 91m.

Get over the video box art because that's the best it's going to get.

In the way only low-budget horror movies can this totally ridiculous and unserious in tone effort has a cast of "never was" actors (Linda Blair and Dan Haggerty) going through the motions as a cyrogenic lab is attacked by the unleashed frozen cadavers when a freak lightning storm hits the cannisters that security guard Haggerty so stupidly put outside.

Cheapjack and eventually tiring this is loaded with cheesy acting, dumb humour and lots of mind-boggling dialogue. Throw in a bunch of lame zombie attacks (they're wearing these tin-foil like suits that instantly make them laughable) and the fact this tries to be hip by mentioning Freddy Kreuger and you have a movie that's inept to the point of hilarity at times. Totally ridiculous.

Of course this is set on Halloween and we can just ask ourself why the characters seem to care less about the frozen bank robber characters crimes and death when earlier in the film they made a big deal out of (lamely) staging the robbery.

Those shivers I have are more from repulsion than being scared.
