Twisted horror import has Rupert Everett playing Dellamorte the caretaker at a local cemetery who's job it is to kill the dead who return after seven days of burial by shooting them or cleving them in the head. And from there the story continues to get more complex and warped as he starts to enjoy murder, has to deal with zombie-love and other things.

Blacker than black humour flows through this entire romp that has lots of great gore scenes, plenty of morbid jokes and a stellar performance from Everett.

Director Soavi shows an excellent and strong grasp of visual style using the camera energetically and setting up some really cool scenes.

Demented to the max but one of the most entertaining and watchable horror films of the year.
